Spend Glance ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your information when using the Spend Glance application and related services (the "Service").

Information provided through authentication
When you sign in using Google Sign-In, we receive information necessary to identify your account. This may include:

- Your profile picture
We only request the information required to provide the Service.
Account information
To operate your workspace, we store information including:
- Your authenticated user identifier
- Your Turso database URL
- Your Turso authentication token
- Basic account metadata required for operation of the Service
Financial information
Spend Glance processes the financial information that you choose to upload.
This may include transaction data extracted from PDF statements, voice input, or other supported import methods.
The Service also stores information generated while using the application, such as transaction categories, user-created categories, and other organizational data required to provide the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Authenticate your account.
- Connect to your personal database.
- Process uploaded financial information.
- Generate spending analysis, reports, visualizations, and insights.
- Maintain and improve the operation of the Service.
- Respond to support requests when necessary.
We do not use your financial information for advertising or marketing purposes.
3. Where Your Data Is Stored
Authentication and account-related information are stored in Spend Glance's user database.
Your uploaded financial information is stored in the database associated with your Spend Glance workspace. At the time of writing, Spend Glance uses Turso to host user databases.
4. Third-Party Services
Spend Glance relies on trusted third-party service providers to operate the Service. At the time of this Privacy Policy, these providers include:
- Google, for user authentication.
- Turso, for hosting user databases.
- Render, for hosting backend services.
Additional providers may be introduced as the Service evolves. This Privacy Policy will be updated when material changes occur.
5. AI-Assisted Processing
Certain features of Spend Glance may use artificial intelligence or machine learning technologies to process user-provided content. This may include extracting information from uploaded documents, transcribing voice input, categorizing transactions, or generating financial insights.
These features are provided to improve the functionality of the Service. While reasonable efforts are made to provide accurate results, automated processing may not always be correct. Users remain responsible for reviewing their financial information.

We do not sell your personal information or your uploaded financial data.
We may disclose information to trusted service providers when necessary to operate the Service, comply with applicable law, protect our legal rights, or with your consent.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information processed by the Service.

You may delete your workspace and associated data through the application's account management features when available.

10. Analytics and Service Monitoring

Operational logs may be generated as part of maintaining and securing the Service.
If analytics, error monitoring, or additional service monitoring tools are introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
